Snack Compliance Department

The Snack Compliance Department exists to ensure that every leaf, shoot, stem, and suspiciously leaf-adjacent object meets our minimum standards for freshness and unnecessary abundance. Inspectors evaluate color, snap, aroma, branch presentation, and whether the serving has been placed within comfortable paw distance. Samples may be consumed during testing and will not be returned.

Bamboo submissions are routed to the pandah desk, where specialists apply the traditional bend, sniff, and immediate-chew protocol. Eucalyptus is reviewed by koalah personnel with species-specific expertise and very little interest in sharing. Mixed platters require dual authorization, a clean table, and several hours during which no meaningful progress should be expected.

To report a deficient snack, provide the date, approximate leaf count, and a dramatic description of your disappointment. Emergency cases include empty bowls, wilted tips, insufficient crunch, and discovering that breakfast was merely lunch arriving early. The department cannot investigate missing snacks when the reporting party is visibly still chewing them. All rulings are final unless a better snack appears.
